Marvel Legends Warbow review (2025)
Warbow is the second member of the Crystar universe to get a Marvel Legends figure.
The ML squad has taken some hits for not completing teams so it’s nice to see them make a genuine effort in filling out more of the world of Crystalium.
Let’s see if Warbow shines or if he’s full of cracks.
Package: This wave is the second Build A Figure wave of 2025. It’s got the usual dominant black color scheme with a purple backdrop, a turquoise button for the BAF tab and a bright red box with a prominent Marvel logo in the center.
We only get one drawing of Warbow repeated throughout, which isn’t as much fun as others with three different pictures. The bio is decent explaining his role as a hero of Crystalium and ally to Crystar.
Likeness: Warbow uses the Crystar mold, which is mostly fine for a comic book accurate look.
One area where it would have been nice to see a new part is the boot tops. Warbow’s should be squared off instead of having a triangle point.
He does have the bracelet on his left wrist though it’s connected to his crossbow.
Warbow has a solid head sculpt with the wrap positioned diagonally across his left eye.
Scale: Without a helmet, Warbow is just a little shorter than Crystar. He’s really the only character he needs to match up with scale-wise but he’s around the same height as Dr. Strange for some comparison.

Paint: Warbow has a light green tinted translucent plastic for his crystal head, torso, arms and legs. That helps him catch light naturally making him (ahem) shine next to Crystar.
His bandolier, shorts and boots are a darker green and his eye wrap is black for some more color contrasts. Additionally, his chest crest is correctly colored white.
Articulation: Since he’s using the Crystar mold, his articulation isn’t surprising.
He also lacks butterfly shoulder articulation point, which could be useful for more crossbow aiming.
Like Crystar, his ankle joints are just a little soft making it necessary to ‘lock’ them in place to avoid him getting tipsy.
Warbow has:
- neck
- ball-jointed shoulders
- bicep
- elbow (double-jointed)
- wrist
- wrist hinge
- ab crunch
- waist
- hip
- thigh
- knee (double-jointed)
- ankle
Accessories: Warbow comes with a decent number of accessories.
Naturally, he comes with his trusty crossbow. It’s a decent size and looks like a formidable weapon that could pack a punch or a significant bolt.
He’s got a swappable set of hands to match the default ones — a left fist and gripping right hand.
Finally, he has the right arm of the Build-A-Figure Executioner.
Worth It? New Marvel Legends are $27.99, which makes it incredibly hard for any figure to be worth the price point. Warbow is a really nice figure and would be a great value at $24.99. Again, if you’re not in a rush to build Executioner, you might want to wait on a sale.
Rating: 9.5 out of 10
Warbow is a great figure with the only issue being the boots. With two fighters from Crystalium, hopefully we’ll see some more from Hasbro in 2026.
Where to Get it? This wave is just starting to hit retail with GameStop being the best option. You can also get him from Amazon or Entertainment Earth.
