With most of the lantern corps on the same page, it only takes one selfish and greedy lantern to mess it up for everyone else. Or in this case, it only takes Larfleeze.

Jessica Cruz is slowly working towards a unified corps — one where each emotional spectrum is represented and possibly accessed by all ring bearers.
Before she can enact that plan, Larfleeze attempts a hostile takeover of Oa and uses the non-ring bearers to aid in his efforts.

Writer Morgan Hampton makes Larfleeze more menacing than his usual portrayals. He’s less of a joke and more of an obsessive legit threat capable of causing problems for an assembled squadron of various corps. While this is playing out, Fatality and Enquar plot out a galactic takeover in a way that’s putting them on a collision course with Oa.

Artist Fernando Pasarin with inker Oclair Albert, does most of the heavy artwork lifting in this issue, which is always a highlight. Pasarin is one of the most underrated artists in the industry and his detailed artwork whether in regular conversations or action sequences is always elaborately done. Will Conrad,with

Jason Paz, provides seamless art assists. Colorists Arif Prianto and Ian Herring bring a sense of vibrancy to the color palette. Letterer Dave Sharpe always does a clean job with the dialogue and adds some unique captions for the various alien races.

With the threats of Larfleeze and Enquar taking shape. It’s just a matter of how quickly the combined corps can get on the same page to keep Oa and their fellow lanterns, from getting shut down by the two sinister forces intent on their destruction.
