Star Wars The Black Series Clone Lt Galle review (2025)
Lt Galle is a welcome arrival to the Star Wars Black Series ranks. He provides another member of Commander Bly’s 327th squadron. The Star Wars team has added a variety of clones, but it’s time to focus in on building out some of the squads they’ve already started instead of adding yet another squad with one or two members. We need clone armies especially for these turncoats to betray their Jedi commanders.
Let’s see if Lt Galle provides welcome reinforcements or if he needs to be watching the battle from the sidelines.
Packaging: Lt Galle is the third member of the Revenge of the Sith lineup after Darth Sidious and Clone Commander Bacara (get it on Amazon). He’s got the usual Black Series presentation with a dark orange accent color.
His mural artwork features Felucia in the background suggested the 327th’s betrayal of Aayla Secura is imminent.
As always, the bio is solid though it’s written in more of a generic sense rather than explaining Galle’s specific role in the Clone Wars.
Likeness: Galle basically uses the same updated, pinless ARC Trooper mold as Echo with the gear load out of Commander Bly. The major differences here is that Galle doesn’t have the visor for his helmet.
All of the other aspects — the chest pad and pauldron, ammo pouch strap over his right side and dual holster belt with soft goods kama (the skirt piece) are similar to Bly.
If you wanted to remove the ARC Trooper chest pad and pauldron and clip away the holsters, this could make for a better base body to supplement the 327th as nameless, generic clones.
Galle has a removable helmet, but he does not have a unique hairstyle or tattoos/face paint. It’s the same basic Clone head sculpt and it’s nice to have that option.
Scale: Lt Galle is a clone, and naturally all of the clones save Wrecker are the same height. That makes it easy for the Star Wars team and also for collectors who are annoyed with scale discrepancies in their figure lines.

Paint: Galle features the same shade of mustard yellow as Bly without the brown/copper elements on his armor beyond the chest pad and pauldron. In another way to differentiate Bly and Galle, Galle has different scrapes and paint chips done in a way that shows the wear and tear his armor has endured since the start of the Clone Wars.
This effect is very clean (for battle damage) and looks appropriately haphazard instead of meticulously done.
Articulation: Galle sports the newer articulation of the updated clone body, which allows him to hit far more dynamic posing thanks to the addition of butterfly shoulders joints and less restrictive hip joints.
He can hit deeper stances than Commander Bly to help provide some more exciting poses for the 327th troopers.
Lt Galle has:
- neck (ball-jointed)
- shoulders (ball-jointed butterfly)
- elbow (with swivel)
- wrist
- wrist hinge
- torso
- hips
- thighs
- knees (double jointed)
- ankles
Accessories: Galle’s removable helmet can kinda count even though it’s part of his default look.
His main weapon is the DC-15S blaster, but he also has the ARC trooper DC-17 hand blasters. These naturally fit in his holsters.
Worth it? Lt Galle was $27.99, but he’s becoming harder to track down at that price. He’s a name clone trooper, which might help to boost his value. He’s a better figure than Commander Bly thanks to the superior articulation, but army building at nearly $30 is tough.
Rating: 9.5 out of 10
Lt Galle is another solid addition to the Black Series line and a welcome army builder for the Clone Wars display.
