void rivals 34

Void Rivals 34 keeps the excitement and twists of the most unpredictable Energon Universe title rolling with something for fans of all corners of the EU. Transformers? Check. GI Joe? Affirmative. The most dynamic duo this side of the distinguished competition? No doubt.
Darak, Solila along with their new allies of Pythona and her three Royal Guards and ROM have another threat after being stranded on a strange planet — the fury of Predacron.

Predacron makes his EU debut in Void Rivals 34 a memorable one as writer Robert Kirkman teases a lengthy rivalry between Predacron and ROM. Very familiar with the new arrival, ROM warns Darak and Solila not to get involved in the fight unless they also want to get on the radar of the Galactic Authorities.

That’s just begging Darak to join the fray since he appreciates loyalty as Void Rivals 34 shows he knows his unofficial partner well as his actions bring Solila into the fight as well. Kirkman isn’t rattled by the prospect of further branching out the EU and shows how far reaching he can handle various characters and subplots in Void Rivals 34.

Wreck-Gar and Skuxxoid make an appearance as well, which could put the latter on a collision course with Darak, Solila as their allies.
Conor Hughes delivers impressively animated art whether in a heated discussion with Pythona and one of her guards or the battle against Predacron. Colorist Patricio Delpeche adds a vibrant pop to Void Rivals 34 with bright hues mixed with some subtle muted shades. Letterer Rus Wooton provides energetic dialogue fonts as well as bombastic sound effects.

Void Rivals 34 packs significant progress in the stranded arc without showing any signs of bloating as the cast expands. As always, the familiar titles in the EU haven’t disappointed, but fans are doing themselves a disservice if they’re skipping this exhilarating title.
